Tutor in Aurora, Colorado

I have been teaching elementary for 6 years and just recently quit so I could stay at home with my 2 year old son. I have my teaching license as well as a masters degree in Administration and all the teaching resources I need to tutor reading, writing, math, science, spelling, and social studies. (I charge $40 an hour). I have a passion for teaching and love to help kids get back on grade level, or even above grade level. Working one-on-one is so powerful and the regular classroom setting doesn't allow much time for that. School is starting for most kids in August and I think it's a good idea to get a jump start on learning. I test my students first so I know exactly where they're at and where they need to go. I use the same resources and curriculum I used in the classroom and have seen much success. I keep in constant contact with their teachers so I know exactly what they need to learn. My goal is to give my students the confidence, tools, and strategies to help them succeed on their own.
