I currently graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Information Science. I have more than 2 years of tutoring math as a student tutor and a supplemental instructor. In addition, previous tutoring experiences have enabled me to understand what students need most when it comes to tutoring a subject like mathematics. I believe this understanding allows for me to promote academic retention and student success in a subject that is known to provide students difficulty. Evaluating students’ learning capabilities and needs, helping them through assignments, and suggesting new learning techniques are just a few of the areas in which I excel. Even though I have a strong mathematics background, I am also well-versed in other subject areas like science, English and Spanish. Willing to provide a copy of my college transcript if requested.
