Hello! My name is Rob and I have a huge passion for linguistics, TEFL/ESL, and languages in general. I have studied multiple languages to varying degrees of fluency, my advanced languages being Spanish and French, that I studied formally in school as well as self-study. I know the struggles one faces while approaching learning a new language. To me, learning a new language is first and foremost about communication, which opens up a door to the people and culture of that language. So, whether you are trying to learn a new language for personal, academic, or professional reasons or you are just trying to improve your level of English, I would be more than happy to work with you so I can share my passion of languages with you. I studied Applied Linguistics and TEFL/ESL at Georgia State University where I gained experience in teaching and second language acquisition through course study, internships, and volunteer work. I have been studying and speaking Spanish and French for several years through personal study as well as formal education. I also am a freelance translator for Spanish and French. I am able to help with speaking, reading/pronunciation, writing/grammar. I help students gain confidence in their speaking skills as well as help them prepare for exams.
