Mastering English can help you find better, higher paying jobs, improve daily communications, allow you to do better in work or school, and generally make daily life so much easier. I am a native English speaker and certified ESL instructor, and I have experience working with a variety of ages, from children to adults, and with a wide range of English speaking ability. I mainly work one-on-one or with small groups of students. I work well with anywhere from beginner to advanced level students, and I find I'm particularly helpful with intermediate levels. I am patient and personable and try to make the lessons interesting and fun! I realize that most ESL students are looking to learn or improve their English for practical reasons. I tailor my lessons to each individual student's abilities and goals, and always move at their pace to help them acquire the language as easily as possible. My private lessons are only $35 an hour (and are usually one hour long), and take place at a coffee shop or library near you. Lessons always include a free cup of coffee or tea.
