For any parents interested, I am offering tutoring services to any students grades 6-12 who need help with reading comprehension or writing. I graduated from USC with highest honors (Bachelor of Liberal Arts, English) in 2011. I spent 2 years interning and teaching at various middle schools and high schools in Richland School District 2. I have a strong understanding of effective teaching methods, as well as what is expected of students in regards to the newly implemented Common Core standards. My tutoring sessions will be focused around the student's individual needs. I will also focus on grade-appropriate readings and writing prompts. The cost for tutoring is $10 an hour. I can help for up to 2 hours a day, but the minimum charge per visit is $10.
