Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a native English-speaking writing and English tutor for professionals and students of all ages, levels, and nationalities. I have seven years of experience teaching ESL, business communication skills, and academic English, including four years abroad in Russia and Germany. (I am proficient in Russian.) I hold a master's degree in social and educational psychology and am TESOL certified. I offer both individual and group courses. Individual lessons are structured according to the student's goals and priorities for $30/academic hour (50 minutes). Group courses are offered for two to five students of similar levels and cost $20/academic hour per student. Lessons are held in my home or can be at a student's (as long as within the five NYC boroughs). Based on the principles of Communication Language Teaching, my methods allow for an immersive and stimulating English learning environment. I can help you obtain your language goals, build your self-confidence to communicate your ideas-- socially, academically, and/or professionally.
