Hello, Are you new to Canada? Are you learning English as a second language? Are you struggling to improve your written and spoken English? Are your job prospects hurt by your lack of fluency in the English language? Are you a high school or university student that is learning how to write highly effective, stand-out essays and reports that get you higher grades? Are you working in the corporate world and seeking to improve the quality of your reports to clients and superiors? Perhaps I can help you. I am a native English language speaker. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree from two different Canadian universities. I completed my Masters degree at Queen's University and did not pay any tuition because I was paid to attend the school through fellowships, teaching assistantships and scholarships. I spent the past ten years working in the engineering/property development consulting businesses in downtown Vancouver. I am currently working on obtaining my TESL diploma. I would love to help you become fluent in the English language and/or help you improve your written academic and/or business English. My rate is minimal: $20 per hour. We can focus on reading, writing, listening and speaking and work toward helping you become fluent in your second language. I can also provide tutoring to high school and university level students needing assistance with conducting research, organizing and writing essays, reports, critical book reviews and other written assignments and to corporate employees that desire to improve their image by producing better quality written work in the workplace. I will not write your papers for you :) But, I can tutor, advise and assist you produce high quality assignments for your university professors, your bosses and/or your clients. I can also help you find resources that can help you in your academic and business endeavours.
