Hello! My name is Mark and I am your average Renaissance Man. Woohoo! (For those who don't know what that is, it basically means I have all sorts of hobbies and interests :P) I love singing, playing my ukulele, and writing my own music. I love listening to music and dancing. I love all kinds of sports, hiking, swimming, and camping. I love working with children and youth. I love playing all kinds of games. I love watching movies (especially older ones). And, of course, I love reading good literature and poetry (as well as writing my own here and there) I am deeply passionate about English Literature and the English Language. In particular, I love how literature can express the human experience in all its wondrous complexity. Good literature (like all good art) possesses both excellent substance and exceptional writing. In other words, it has something to say that is meaningful and it says it in a beautiful and compelling way. I am here as an English tutor because I want to share that passion with you! Yes I want to help you get your assignments done and improve your reading and writing skills, but I also want you to better appreciate the English language and fall in love with literature!
