Grasping the fundamentals of reading and math is critical to student success in middle school and beyond. Elementary students are under increasing pressure to succeed, and they need all the help they can get in their critical early years of schooling. I have over a year's experience working in public elementary schools in Washington State, first as a tutoring coordinator and currently as a special education assistant. I'm also a certified ESL instructor and love to work with kids who are learning English. I have a background check on file with OSPI and can provide references from two Washington school districts, one of which is my current employer.
