EXCELLENT MATH TUTOR for Grades 1-8 e x p e r i e n c e -Certified teacher with the TDSB, who has taught for 8 years in English and French -Tutored and supervised a Math tutoring program for high school students. -Tutored a 7th grader in Math for 2 years s t r e n g t h s & p r o f i c i e n c y -Among other subjects (French Immersion Program, English literacy), I am an excellent Math teacher and tutor. I will work with your child to strengthen his / her numeracy skills as well as all other strands of Math that are needed. -I'll interpret your child's report card / progress report findings, and if needed communicate with his / her teacher to pinpoint areas of weakness. -How it works: a) I will meet the student and parent at their home / specified location. b) I will assess the students' needs and make a learning plan, which includes Organizational Skills and Learning Skills. c) I will discuss the student's Math learning needs with his / her teacher if needed and when requested. d) I will update the parent / guardian on student's progress and suggest additional resources for practise where appropriate. f e e s $ 50 / session for one hour $70 / session for 1.5 hours Trial Session: $40 PLEASE NOTE : The first session is considered a "trial", during which I assess the student's needs and whether I can be of service, and the student and parent does the same. Minimum Number of Sessions: 4 @ $50 = $200, payable by cash or etransfer OR 4 @ $70 = $280 After the trial session, a minimum commitment of 4 sessions is required to make progress.
