Tutor in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Though I attended a private Christian school K-9 grade, I graduated as a homeschool student from Lancaster Center for Classical Studies majoring in Latin and minoring in Greek in 2016. I am paying my way through my associates in general studies Harrisburg Area Community College, and I start in the fall 2018 as a junior at Millersville University in secondary education focusing in history. I also am a paid tour guide at historic Rock Ford Plantation and a house/pet sitter. It is a joy for me to see student's grow in knowledge. My experience includes: 1 year of basic computer skills to second graders, 1 year of essay writing and algebra for fifth graders, and 6 months for Latin/English grammar. My bent is mostly towards history, literature, and english for 6th-12th graders. I am completely flexible on curriculum and your method of education (private, public, charter, homeschool, dual enrollment). I teach for content, mastery, and polishing up subject material. My main jobs are very flexible for scheduling sessions to work for you, and I always customize my teaching to suite your goals and the student's learning type.
