Tutor in Glendale, California

I am a college student offering math tutoring services in elementary-high school levels of math. I tutor subjects such as fundamental grade school arithmetic, middle school pre/introductory algebra, and first year high school algebra (algebra 1). I also work with community college students who are taking beginning and elementary algebra. If you or your child needs any help or additional practice in learning algebra or basic arithmetic I am more than willing to assist the student in mastering important math concepts. Whether it be preparing for a big exam, solving homework problems, or learning any specific concept, I work with students of all ages to better improve their understanding in the subject which ultimately improves test scores. Who Am I?: As a science major in college, my background in mathematics comes from completing many rigorous math and heavily algebra based science courses. Additionally, I understand the importance of mathematics applied in the broad rage of courses schools offer and therefore I am familiar with study and test taking strategies necessary for success. Disclaimer: Tutoring is my part time job and unfortunately due to my limited time schedule, I am unable to tutor students in more advanced math courses beyond the level of general algebra as I feel I would not be able to devote my full potential to these students who usually require more time in tutoring. How it Works: Normally sessions are held at a Starbucks or other local cafes however occasionally I meet with students at their residence or other specified convenient locations upon request.
