Hello Everyone, I am a student at UBC Vancouver studying bachelor of science. I will be offering tutoring service this summer from the end of April to beginning of June. I offer K-12 Math(I can also help with first year university math) and Physics, as they are my major strengths, but I could also help with other sciences. This will be short but powerful course where students will be asked to solve a lot of problems. For finals/exams prep we will cover: - Review of the past materials and strengthening the foundations, focused on students' weaknesses. This will not be limited to current year's material when needed. - Problem solving strategies. Prep for the next year: - Some review of past materials, if required. (Foundations are important!) - Cover of concepts, including proofs, theories etc. - Problem solving strategies. I can also help with homeworks, but it will involve students trying them first, and asking any questions they have. I will be putting a lot of effort in helping students actually understand the concepts, which I believe will help them the most in the future. Students can contact me anytime if they have questions and I will be happy to help. I love sciences and hope to aspire students to love them too! My qualifications: BC high school graduate - familiar with BC curriculum! received 98 in all my grade 12 science courses. Strong math skills: Honours differential calculus (MATH 120) - completed with 97% final score. Currently taking Honours integral calculus. I have also completed/currently taking honours physics. (All at UBC V) Can tutor in Korean as well. Passionate and eager to help students improve! The rates will be $20-$25/hr depending on the level of course. (Answering to students' emails, texts are free of charge) There are further discounts on group lessons.
