Hi Everyone! My name is Isabel and I have been teaching/tutoring for over 10 years. I was born and raised in Valencia, Venezuela and I am fluent in Spanish and English. I have a Bachelor of Music, Violin Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi, Masters of Arts in Teaching from Bard College and a California single subject credential in music. In addition, I am authorized to instruct English learners through the California Crosscultural, Language, and Academic Development certificate. I have experience in tutoring all levels of Spanish. I have worked as a Spanish instructor for Futura Language Professionals in Milwaukee, WI and the Berlitz Corporation also in Milwaukee, WI. I also have experience as an oral translator for the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as a private Spanish tutor. I am patient with my students and understand that everyone has different learning abilities. I will explain things at a level that is accessible, and have many different strategies that will help you, no matter what your learning style is.
