My integrative approach to teaching includes meeting each student's individual needs by drawing upon his or her strengths. I incorporate creativity and authentic learning experiences in order to connect to students' lives. I have a wide range of teaching experience from Preschool through 12th grade. I have taught elementary school in the New York City public schools for the past 8 years. My experience in teaching and tutoring ranges from honors classes to English Language Learners and students with special needs. As a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a degree in American History, I also really enjoy working with high school students in writing and history. I have a proven track record of success in test prep, middle school, and elementary school tutoring. I look forward to helping more students reach their true potentials.
