I have been assisting students of all ages become successful students for the past 40 years in both public and private schools. My undergraduate degree in elementary education is from Peabody College at Vanderbilt U and my Exceptional Education/Learning Disabilities M..... is from the U of Miami. I developed one of the first Learning Support programs in a regular college preparatory schools, developing learning style profiles for each student I worked with over the years. My strategies are based on a students preferred way of learning and I use a multi-modal approach when teaching. I try to make learning interesting and students progress is based on making them successful and confident. I am Orton-Gillingham trained and have worked with all kinds of exceptionalaties, including ADHD, autistic students and learning disabled.
