I am an experienced Educator who is passionate about education work, supporting children, youths and other students to build confidence, enjoy learning, expand horizons and reach full potential! This includes facilitating intellectual, mental and emotional development. My 12 years of experience includes: -International education experience in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Cairo and Ontario. -Worked as a Trainer at Community Builders Youth Leadership at 20 elementary schools across Ontario. Presented workshops to over 2,000 students, parents, teachers and administrators on building self confidence, understanding anti-oppression, being allies for inclusion and community building. Incorporated games, music, drama and listening circles. -Supported students' leadership and interpersonal skills by delivering training institutes. Coached students in delivering workshops to peers and created community building projects -The work has contributed to increasing students' interests in learning and ability to do school work -Tutored students from ages of 6 to 16 in reading, writing, English, Chinese, social sciences, geography, math and science -As Camp Counsellor, created a fun, warm and safe environment for kids with special needs in an integrated setting.
