Hello! My name is Grier and I am a 21 year old student at CSU Channel Islands (CI). I am in my senior year at CI (English major/History minor) and have been tutoring professionally through my University for 3 years. I tutor writing for all disciplines, as well as for college and graduate school application essays. Alongside my experience as a University-level tutor, I have taught 4th and 5th grade creative writing and journalism and acted as Managing Editor for my University newspaper for 2 years. As a tutor at CSU Channel Islands, I tutor students of all class levels and disciplines and work in 3 first-year composition classrooms alongside the professors. I have also presented at the Southern California Writing Center Association conference. I genuinely enjoy my work and would be very happy to help anyone with any writing trouble that they may have. I am willing to meet at a neutral location for anything, and could meet with elementary and high school students in their home if that is the most convenient option.
