Services available: one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring, customized laboratory experience I begin my sessions by assessing the client's knowledge and skills in the area of which they are seeking tutoring. I then create a customized plan of action in order to help them reach their learning goals. The customized plan often involves supplemental reading, research-based learning, and activities that build critical thinking skills. The individual students' prior knowledge, needs, goals, and learning style are important factors I take into consideration when designing customized lesson plans and assessing learning. Lesson plans include a combination of what the student needs to learn in order to succeed in their field, and what the student wishes to learn about in order to keep them motivated.
