I am a Math and Science tutor with over 15 years experience working with elementary through early college level students. I am an electrical engineer with over 20 years in the industry, and married with two children. I really enjoy working with students of all ages, helping them get to that ah-ha moment when the light bulb goes off and they really get it. I've found that I'm most effective when I can quickly discern the student's learning style and then tailor the tutoring to that style. I also try to quickly discern what if any previously covered material that is relevant to the topic at hand may not have been fully understood and integrated. Focusing on learning style and previous concept understanding can lead to a more rapid progress. I can generally be available weekdays after 3 and Sat/Sun before 5, but can be fairly flexible. I charge 30$/hour for each tutoring hour. I do not charge for any travel time to anywhere more than 20 miles one way from this address: 1103 County Road A, Hudson, WI. Beyond 20 miles one way I include a travel charge of $2/mile.
