Hey young Medico ! Let me guess ; you are drowning neck deep in the sheer load of tons of stuff to study. Back in the early days of med school, I was drowning in the sheer load of stuff to study. But you know what they say – necessity is the mother of a medical student trying to survive. I ended up crafting my own teaching methods to make sense of it all. I realised that a mindset of developing curiosity, story telling, visualization, mindmaps, mnemonics etc can take me far ahead than just trying to memorize. ( Yes, even those House MD episodes came in handy ! ) As I aced my own studies, I stumbled upon the magic of making lessons engaging and that skill I polished through those years help me tank high on those internal marks because I made sure to impress my professors with my presentations and seminar skills during college years. I was so passionate about teaching that I started taking classes in entrance coaching institutions in 2nd year of college itself. I taught in over 15 schools and nursing colleges during those early years itself.
