Hey young Medico ! Let me guess ; you are drowning neck deep in the sheer load of tons of stuff to study. Robin's and First - Aid is haunting you in your sleep and you have probably cried in silence a couple of times in your dorm wondering why you took medicine at all ! Well, whether that sounds like you or not - that exactly was my story. Insert "thoughts of quitting med" into the above and viola - Makes it complete. If you are going through the same, you are at the right place. If I could make it and end up loving med, you can as well ! Back in the early days of med school, I was drowning in the sheer load of stuff to study. But you know what they say – necessity is the mother of a medical student trying to survive. I ended up crafting my own teaching methods to make sense of it all. I realised that a mindset of developing curiosity, story telling, visualization, mindmaps, mnemonics etc can take me far ahead than just trying to memorize. ( Yes, even those House MD episodes came in handy ! ) As I aced my own studies, I stumbled upon the magic of making lessons engaging and that skill I polished through those years help me tank high on those internal marks because I made sure to impress my professors with my presentations and seminar skills during college years. I was so passionate about teaching that I started taking classes in entrance coaching institutions in 2nd year of college itself. I taught in over 15 schools and nursing colleges during those early years itself. The reason you should consider studying with me - I hate mugging up / rote information myself and I don't want you to also learn that way. I like to teach by flaming curiosity in my students through stories and teach the concepts in a way that you can understand and recollect them forever. I can help you with your Usmle Step 1 exam / with your regular studies. I use mnemonics, mindmaps that help you understand connections between concepts, memory palace examples, sketchy/ picmonic, Anki cards etc in addition to teaching to make sure the information sticks in your brain since medicos are burdened with a lot of topics to study and memorize. If you would like to know further, feel free to send me a message and we can discuss on your specific requirements and how we can work this out to make sure you benefit the most from the classes. Regards, Aiswarya
