Hello, I am an elementary school teacher with seven years of experience in classrooms ranging from 3rd to 6th grade. I do hold an Elementary Education teaching certificate, which is SEI endorsed. This is my second career; what made me pursue a Masters in Elementary Education was my desire to make a real difference and feel accomplished at the end of the day. I still feel the same way! Students rise to their full potential when they feel confident and safe. By tutoring students, I want to continue helping them become aware of their strengths and be excited about learning. I tutor in one-on-one settings using different methods and strategies depending on the student's individual needs. Modeling, hands-on activities, pre reading, during reading and post reading strategies, gestures, charades, whiteboards and manipulatives are some of them. Available from 10-1 on weekdays; 10-5 over Spring Break. SPANISH is my first language. Thank you
