Hello my name is Mr. Rusty Rigby! I know it is a busy time of year. A round of regency exams is approaching soon and a lot of students will be taking the SAT and preparing for midterms, other exams, and the regency exams in June. HAVE NO FEAR! I am a great teacher with a proven track record of helping students be successful in learning math and doing well in high stakes testing. I have been teaching for seven years, where I have taught algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and statistics. My specialty is Algebra and Geometry. I have experience teaching both the AP and the IB (International Baccalaureate) programs. I have taught in low income, Title 1 schools and I have taught in the private school setting. Over the last six years I have had a 95% plus passing rate of all my students taking high stakes state testing. I am a very patient teacher and can also teach study skills and test taking skills that work well for any math student. I can travel to you, tutor out of your home, or meet at a desired location. I am very flexible. I am available from 5-9 on the weekdays and can make arrangements on the weekends if necessary. I am looking to charge $60/hour. We can discuss payment arrangements privately.
