I have an MA in English Literature, and taught high school English (grades 9-11, AP Literature and Composition, creative writing and various honors-level courses) for seven years. My students' AIMS writing scores helped bring our school-wide writing percentages up significantly during my years as an English 10 teacher. I also worked after school as an AIMS tutor for two years. I use a tried, effective curriculum to assist students in developing organized paragraphs and essays. I also offer test-taking strategies and practice for the AP Literature and Composition exam.
