Tutor in Branford, Connecticut

Hello, my name is Vince and I've been teaching/tutoring for more than 25 years. I graduated from Southern CT State University in 1986 and then I returned there to obtain my teaching credentials in History/social studies and special education. Over the years I have worked as a full-time substitute for local towns, I was an instructor at a private special education school in the area, and I have also been employed as an adult ed instructor for the cities of Wallingford and New Haven. I also have experience as a private tutor. I have worked with elementary level students as well as high school and adult students. Though I have worked in a classroom setting and in one-to-one situations my preference is working as a tutor in a one-to-one setting. I very much enjoy being able to give the student the personalized individual attention that tutoring allows me. I find it rewarding to create a rapport with my students while helping them to reach their individual educational goals.
