Marcus DeWitt is a Yale graduate and expert tutor. With over ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, Marcus has instructed over 50 students in the ACT, SAT (new and old), French, Spanish, US History, World History, Social Science, Government, English and Literature. He received intensive professional training at an elite educational boutique in Westport, Connecticut, and since conducted his own specialized tutor training programs. This unique and personalized program features strategies and techniques personalized for each student that are not featured in Princeton Review, Kaplan or other standardized test books. Further, Marcus has trained and worked professionally in Educational Therapy, helping middle and high school students address the underlying psychological issues that demotivate and compromise academic achievement. In his tutoring, Marcus is sensitive to how building self-confidence and a strong work ethic is crucial in a student's journey to reach the highest score possible. As a native Spanish speaker, Marcus grew up in Spain as the son of Christian missionaries, and is thrilled to return to Nashville where his parents are originally from.
