I have been teaching and tutoring for over 12 years. I have worked for 3 large test prep companies specializing in SAT and GRE. I have also worked with central valley school districts and worked on material for science and math curricula for charter schools. My students have received admissions to every UC including UC Berkeley (my alma mater), UCLA, UC San Diego and some have moved on to graduate schools and medical schools. I have worked with Fresno State students on their GREs and many of them moved on to receiving their advance degrees. SAT/ACT Prep My students will be given study material which I co-authored with 2 other UC Berkeley graduates (one being a UT Austin Ph.D in physics). We will be using released SATs as well as the official guide to the SATs from The Collegeboard (the blue book) in conjunction with the study material. I found that using official test material from the test makers accurately gauges student progress and proficiency as well as target their weak areas. GRE Prep GREs are a crucial in graduate school admission. GREs are also accepted by most business schools in place of the GMATs. GREs are developed by the same test makers of the SATs (Educational Testing Services) and is a highly sophisticated reasoning test. I emphasis teaching test taking strategies as well as developing the correct reasoning skills to do well on the GREs. I have extensive experience in developing for ETS test material including the GREs. Subject Areas I studied molecular cell biology in college therefore my area of expertise is in the sciences and math especially biology and chemistry. I have extensive experience in tutoring k-12 math.
