Are you interested in learning a new language? Wanting to learn a language that's spoken in 29 countries across the world? Do you have an uncanny attraction to pastries, cheese, and berets? Well, then it sounds like you need to learn French! Hello, my name is Samantha and I am a French tutor currently seeking new students. I recently completed my studies with a minor in French at Oral Roberts University. I am an inducted member of the National French Honor Society and I've been a French language and culture enthusiast for almost ten years. I am seeking new students of all ages and levels of experience, from children who have never learned a second language to adults learners who want to broaden their horizons. I am available on Saturdays at a local coffee shop for one-on-one sessions OR you can bring friends along with you and learn together. My rates are listed below: $20/hr for one-on-one instruction $10/hr per person for group instruction* *The more the merrier! Language learning is enriched in an environment where there's lots of interaction and conversation. Bring your friends along, split the cost, and learn French together! I am also happy to tutor students who are already learning French through a regular course. Please contact me via email at [email protected] OR call or text me (918) 63... to schedule your first session! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Need a little more info? Here's a little more about my experience with French: Secondary Studies: Introductory French Studies (7th-10th grade) AP French Language (11th grade) University Studies: Intermediate French Courses (2 semesters) Survey of French Literature I Business French French Literary Periods Abroad: I had the opportunity to speak with native and secondary French speakers on a recent trip to Germany. In short: I'm always continuing to grow in my understanding of the French language. I love watching movies in French, reading the news in French, and riddling through my book of old French poems. My undergraduate studies included in-depth readings of medieval French texts (stories like Perceval et le conte du graal, Lanval, original French tales like Cendrillion - aka "Cinderella" in English), a survey of French literature from the medieval era onwards until the late 1700s, and to add in some variety, a Business French course where I studied the way French economy works (the class was conducted in French, mind you!) I've written lengthy papers in French, undergone mock interviews in French, presented a marketing strategy in French, and watched some medieval jousting along the way. I hope you'll consider studying with me! I love this language and the various cultures it represents, so it's always a pleasure to share what I've learned with others.
