I'm an
Individual
Bonjour! My name is Gautier. I love my native French culture and I have a passion for sharing my language and helping people to leverage their French language skills. You're going soon on a work trip to Francophone Africa? You want to learn the practical aspects of the French language in regards to your upcoming trip to France? My goal is to create a vibrant, enjoyable and results-focused learning experience articulated around your needs. I design my lessons around the specifics of your field of work and personal interests. I bring the language to life by using using the French culture and news as a teaching support. Finally, I adjust to your schedule and priorities. Over my 5 years of experience as a professional tutor, I have successfully worked with individuals as well as professionals from the World Bank, Chemonics and FHI 360 (See references below). As a result, they were able to get around during their trips to Paris, interviewed for a job in French or pass the official French proficiency test for professionals (DALF). Interested? Email me and I will get back to you shortly. A bientôt ! Gautier RECOMMENDATIONS: Cary, Writer and Entrepreneur in Washington D.C: "I have loved studying French with Gautier. He brought the language and culture alive and made it accessible and all the more "Je ne sais quoi" through creative homework, lively class sessions, visual illustrations and patience and encouragement." Sabrina, Consultant at the World Bank Group, Washington D.C: "I personally enjoyed Gautier's class a lot. Gautier is very prepared and the classes are well organized. The class materials efficiently meet my learning objectives and are processed in a gradual but reasonable way. " Victor, Military Chaplain, Washington D.C: "Gautier is a highly gifted teacher who brings the French language and culture to life. His conversational and easy going teaching style make it fun to learn a new language. I especially appreciated the practical aspects of the course. . .ordering from a menu, exploring art and film, and preparing a typical French meal. I am much better prepared now not only for my next visit to France, but also to engage French speaking friends here in the U.S." Sujata, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Advisor at FHI360, Washington D.C: "Gautier is a very sympathetic and flexible instructor who always arrived well-prepared and with lots of enthusiasm for our classes. He took a very creative approach to structuring our classes that allowed me to achieve my goals. He was a lot of fun to work with and really helped improve my level of French"
