Tutor in Scarborough, Ontario

Hello! My. name is Dea and I'm a French immersion teacher in Toronto. I'm fluent in both french and Spanish and have been teaching for 4 years and tutoring for 8 years to a variety of ages, anywhere from Kindergarten to lessons for adults. No two lessons are the same, as I create my lessons based on the need of the individual student. This can include homework support, additional support reflecting activities of the curriculum, literacy support or conversation. I like to set up at least 1-2 classes to get an idea of the students needs and how I'm able to best support them. This time also gives the students and parents the chance to test our compatibility as learning partners. I'm looking for students who are enthusiastic to partner with me in their learning journey and continuously complete activities provided. This is what will help them to improve and apply what they've learned in our sessions.
