I am a Certified K-9 teacher with over 11 years experience. I have my Masters in Education, my ESL certification, and Middle School endorsements in Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies. In addition, I have many years of experience teaching students with special needs, like autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. I especially enjoy helping students who have become "math phobic" after years of just getting by without true understanding. I also love helping struggling readers learn to enjoy reading! I try to make tutoring easy, fun and relevant by giving my students great websites, games, and apps to help support their learning. I will provide parents with a complete written report of our lessons to share with classroom teachers, and I am also willing to connect with classroom teachers through e-mail to insure continuity. Skyping or Facetime to review for tests is also available. I do not charge for an initial meeting as I feel it is important to share goals and determine if I would be a good fit for your needs.
