I am currently a student at Umass Boston studying to become a high school teacher. I received my AA degree at a previous college and now I'm attending Umass Boston to get my Bachelor's degree. I am excellent with kids and have a huge passion for teaching. When I was going to school as a child I greatly struggled with ADD. I was always disobedient and avoided studying and homework. Now that I'm older I have come to love school and learning new things. It was a real challenge for me as a kid and I found that everyone learns different. So, if you're son or daughter struggles with a learning disability I would definitely be a good fit for them. I have a huge passion for History and anything Social Studies but I am also very knowledgeable in many other subjects. In my first degree I took 4 history courses, 3 Science courses, and general Math and English courses. I have listed the subjects that I am proficient to teach in below. During my tutor sessions I can help your son/daughter understand their assignments clearly and effectively, take proper notes, write strong and creative essays, inspire creative and analytical thinking, and teach them efficient studying habits.
