Is your child struggling at school? Does he or she need different strategies to master difficult material? I have experience working with students ages 5-18 in the following areas: Math, Reading, Writing, Spelling, Vocabulary, Phonics, and Study Skills. I specialize in K-12 English Language Arts and K-8 Basic Math. I have found that not all children learn in the same way. I make it a priority to not only establish a baseline of student knowledge in each subject area, but take the time to utilize various methodology until one method proves effective. I have found that repetition is the key to reaching mastery of a skill. To make learning more enjoyable for students, I try to incorporate fun learning games or other educational materials to inspire motivation. In addition to tutoring experience, I have my M..... in Educational Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.
