Tutor in Toronto, Ontario

My name is Jake McQueen and I have recently relocated to Toronto after living most of my life in the Canadian Rockies and Vancouver. I attended the University of Northern British Columbia and obtained my Bachelors of Environmental Science. Since graduating I have worked as a university researcher studying the effects of climate change on the glacier's hydrology. Most recently I have worked at an engineering firm providing, sustainability and environmental monitoring solutions to my clients as an Environmental Consultant. Throughout my childhood and early academics I have always been fascinated with the sciences (biology, chemistry, meteorology and geography). For me, the sciences help explain the world around us and I have always enjoyed teaching these subjects to others. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy the great outdoors and fitness. I enjoy backcountry camping, mountain climbing, hiking and training for races and triathlons. I also enjoy the arts and I abstract paint frequently. I tutor elementary school math and science as well as high school chemistry and biology. I also tutors chemistry and biology at the college and university levels.
