I am a elementary teacher with four years teaching experience in Canada and England, where I helped raise writing standards in a 95% English as an Additional Language school. I have been working in Education for over 10 years, supporting children in their learning. This means I have lots of experience raising the achievement of children of different learning abilities. If you want your child to be able to write well, like the example above, I can definitely help. I have experience teaching writing to children as young as 8 years old. Math tutoring also available, as I have lots of experience teaching math to all ages. I was previously employed as an Intervention Support teacher, who was responsible for raising the achievement of low achieving students in a diverse school. My previous students in Canada and England often say they appreciate how I make math understandable for everyone, including students with low confidence. I am a hard working, dependable tutor for math and/or writing for grades 3 to 8. My rate is $25-$35 hour, depending on how much planning is required for your child and the type of tutoring they require.
