I have been a tutor in the Chicago area since 2012. I specialize in math, science, and standardized tests, including the ACT, SAT, GMAT, and GRE. I explain every concept in straightforward and totally plain language to describe the relationships between all of the moving parts in math and science subjects. I use familiar analogies as needed to paint a picture of the models students should imagine to successfully solve problems and wrap their heads around the concepts. When it comes to standardized tests, I have a track record of achieving significant score improvements on each section, including reading and verbal subject areas. Having scored at the 99th percentile on each standardized test, I have first-hand experience with successful preparation, and I have helped hundreds of students do the same.
