I have been actively tutoring since 2005, since then, I have tutored students of all ages including college students. I have tutored in a group setting as well as one-on-one. I love tutoring because I enjoy watching students succeed. There is nothing better than having them come back after a test that we have prepared for and telling me that they did well. I love being able to help students get the grade that they want and deserve. My goal is to not only help students learn the subject at hand, but also develop study skills that they could carry with them to other classes. This includes being organized, creating outlines and getting into the habit of verifying each step in a problem making sure they occur in a logical manner. Subjects that I am confident in tutoring include: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. As for myself, I graduated UCI with a bachelors in Electrical Engineering and recently obtained a masters in Applied Math at CSULB, Fall 2015.
