Hello parents and caregivers, my name is Alex and I am certified under the OCT. from JK-10 and have been teaching Elementary for 5 years now. I strive to teach through positive thinking, I enable students to focus on their strengths, which builds confidence and in turn overcomes their weaknesses. During the topics that are being covered I always make connections to everyday life, thus learning becomes relevant and more entertaining. I am offering students tutoring sessions on weekday evenings and Sundays. Depending on Library hours we can make something work, right now Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are really flexible, but I could still slot students in up until 7 PM on Mondays and 6:30 on Tuesdays. As for high school students I can assist in any reading, writing or editing your writing as I am a History major so that’s all I did in University is read and write.
