I am pleased to offer my tutoring services for students in grades K-6, specializing in math, English, and French. With extensive experience working with diverse age groups, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 7, I have successfully taught French and English classes via Zoom and have also provided English instruction to ESL students. I have helped a student improve their grade from a C Plus to an A- through my dedicated support and guidance. As a reliable and determined educator, I am passionate about working with children and employing various methods and strategies to help them complete their homework and achieve their academic goals. I am also capable of developing my own lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of each student. I have completed practicums via Zoom, where I taught French and English, as well as a practicum in a private academy for a grade 1/2 split class in December and January. During these experiences, I designed and implemented engaging lesson plans. I prioritize creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment for your child during our sessions. To establish a connection, I will always begin our session with a "what's new" to engage with your child and foster open communication. Your child's comfort and well-being are important t to me, and I strive to build a positive relationship to ensure a productive and enjoyable learning experience. I will have an expanded availability for tutoring starting May 1st, as I will be on summer break, allowing for greater flexibility in scheduling sessions.
