Hi! I'm Khalil, I am currently an undergraduate at Ontario Tech University (OTU) working towards a Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering. I am an avid supporter of STEAM education especially in youth, as well as an advocate for lifelong learning and curiosity. I have worked with many people in my life and have had the experience of learning from and teaching people from all walks of life. Through the help of my high school robotics team (Wolverine Robotics, FRC team 5596), I had the chance to teach kids from grades 6-12 about teamwork, computer science, mechanics and automation. I have helped many elementary school kids get into STEAM and specifically into Robotics Engineering, and even though my time in highschool is over I am still eager to help a new generation discover a love for STEAM. Or, at the very least, a tolerance enough to deal with it in highschool haha. Fun facts: Whenever I get free time with my friends, we are often playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, or Magic: the Gathering :)
