I am a graduate from McGill University with a BSc in Psychology, as well as, as graduate from Dawson College with a DEC in Pure and Applied Sciences. I have worked as a tutor at Dawson College for 2 years and at a reputable tutoring agency for 3 years after that. I am experience in teaching elementary - high school level, with a specialty in Math, Science and English. However, I am a capable and confident teacher for any subject and for homework help. I have taught children on a full-time basis who struggle with psychological and behavioural issues, including ODD, ADHD, Tourette's Syndrome and Autism. My goal as a teacher is to build academic confidence that a student can benefit from for years to come. I focus on building intrinsic motivation towards studying by giving autonomy and positive reinforcement to the student. In September, I will be undertaking graduate studies in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice.
