Services offered(currently virtual): one-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, exam reviews, homework help, study plan development, creation of learning packages, and academic advising. Experience: 3 years working as a STEM tutor for university students in two different academic aid offices. Past experience tutoring individuals with learning disabilities. 1 year's worth of experience as a teaching assistant. Why me? It is one thing to understand science, and it is a completely different thing to be able to teach it. Through many years of experience, I have been able to develop my communication skills to a point where I not only convey information effectively but am also able to foster in my students a feeling of appreciation for the concepts being learned. In my tutoring sessions, I encourage a collaborative learning style that engages the student and makes learning an enjoyable experience! We work following specific learning objectives and practicing with questions uniquely tailored for the student and topic of discussion. Availability (sessions held virtually): Weekday evenings (Mon-Fri): 6:30-9pm Weekends: 12pm-6pm
