Hey my name is Daniel Smith. I am a Kennesaw State University alumnus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, my concentration being public service and policy. As a native Georgian, I would enjoy creating additional assistance for our education sector. I am seeking to tutor student’s grades 6-12 in the Cobb, Fulton, and Douglas county areas. My strengths are, but not limited to: English (reading and writing skills), history, and research papers. I can provide SAT/ACT assistance as well. I am not fluent but do have years of experience in Spanish also. I attended Darlington School for grades 6-12; it is a private school in Rome, GA. I am a former college athlete; however I finished school concentrating solely on academics. I spent my freshmen year playing football at Eastern Kentucky University. I attended a few other schools before graduating from Kennesaw State University in Spring of 2014. Six months after graduation I moved to Park City, Utah to work at a ski resort. I lived in Park City for about a year before moving back to Georgia. For me, teaching has always remained a possible outlet from the political science field. Teaching is one way to have a direct impact on giving back while also ensuring a better future for our society. Tutoring can be helpful for students because they may require extra attention outside the classroom. It can also serve as a glance into teaching for my point of view.
