I am a supporter to the goals of who I am helping. With my skills in both English and Spanish I can help in Literary analysis, and language transcription. In a tutoring job I am looking to help someone achieve improvement in their skillset. Whether that skill be the SAT, ACT, essay writing, resume writing, curriculum vitae, cover letter, public speaking, speech writing, or everyday conversation, I want to assist through a curated training regimen designed around the student's needs.

I have known Lamar as his supervisor and director of the Writing and Reading Center at Lincoln University in PA for the past two years. In fall 2018, Lamar started his work as a tutor in the Writing and Reading Center. Lamar’s friendly personality helps the students relax and engage in the task at hand. He is a confident peer tutor, who is very respectful and helpful. In his role as a writing and reading tutor, he assists his peers in English, Spanish, essay and creative writing, and research. He also helps students with all stages of the writing process, whether brainstorming, outlining, drafting, analyzing, revising, or researching. He has been a great asset for our WRC.
