I am in my second year of a Bachelor of Science Degree. My program is Mathematical Physics and I'm also pursuing a minor in Pure Mathematics. I believe that each student requires a specialized learning strategy, even more so in subjects such as math and physics which might require additional attention. Every student has different strengths and weaknesses in their approach to problem solving and my goal is to use their strengths to improve on their weaknesses from which they can gain a comprehensive outlook on their studies. Specifically (in mathematics and physics), there are various ways of thinking about problems. There are ways to visualize them graphically and/or geometrically, ways of describing them through equations and ways to navigate them through logic. Each person has strengths in which of these approaches that they find intuitive, but it must be the goal to show that all of these approaches are connected on a very fundamental level. Realizing this not only provides students an adequate set of tools in mathematics, but also enhances their general problem solving abilities which they can use in various other aspects in life.
