Tutor in Ithaca, New York

I teach formal and informal logic, philosophical (and more generally argumentative) essay writing, as well as offering help with editing papers and understanding philosophical texts. I'm currently a fourth-year PhD student in philosophy at Syracuse University, living in Ithaca. For the past few years I've had the privilege of teaching philosophy discussion sections in areas as wide-ranging as political philosophy, formal logic, and ethics. This also involved aiding students with understanding key texts and problems, grading papers, and offering detailed feedback throughout the course.
