People often attribute learning success to simply in-born talents. But if we look carefully, we can see that there is always more to the story. Growth always requires nurture, especially at early stages.
Over my many years of education, I have seen in myself and others just how much learning success comes from the quality of the teacher. There is no replacement for an exceptional educator who balances empathy and rigor, and believes in their students before they even believe in themselves.
Such teachers strive to inspire not just their talented students, but all their students. They encourage any and all questions. No question is too basic when it comes to in-depth learning.
I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn and benefit from quite a number of such teachers over the years, in a variety of subjects. And I have had tutoring experiences with under-privileged elementary and middle school students that only underscored my appreciation for the challenge and rewards of personalized, in-depth learning.
It is my hope to share with you what I have learned from my experiences and to help you advance in your learning goals. No matter your level, my goal is to help you improve. If you have any questions or would like to schedule lessons, please get in touch. I look forward to learning with you.
I have always had a passion for mathematics and reading. In high school, I earned awards in both math and English courses, participated in a few mathematics competitions, and obtained a perfect score on both the math and verbal sections of the SAT.
At Johns Hopkins University, I graduated with honors in Biomedical Engineering and minored in Mathematics.
