My name is Colette. I have worked for ASD 15 years, first as an Interpreter for the Deaf and now as a Bilingual Tutor. I have developed great talent in getting young readers to blend and then master comprehension through inference, conceptual context, evaluation. I am familiar with Houghton-Mifflin, GoMath! and Everyday Math. I can help your student that is entering Kindergarten this coming school year so that he/she will have a boost and letter name/sound recognition ready. I can help your student entering into first and second to increase their reading fluency so they will be ready for reading comprehension skills. I can help your student entering 3rd and 4th grade with vocabulary and comprehension so they will be ready for those critical thinking skills. I am also attending Grand Canyon University majoring in elementary education. So I have new and fresh ideas to motivate and educate you son or daughter. I used to be an Interpreter for the Deaf and can tutor your dead child as well.
