I am an online graduate student at Northeastern University, studying for my M...... in eLearning and Instructional Design, and will be entering a Learning Technologies Ph.D. program in the fall of 2015. I offer tutoring services for all ages throughout the Metro Detroit area. Although I am not a certified teacher, I have experience working with youth and adults in learning and training environments. I also worked as a direct care worker in both an adult foster care home and a respite home for children with autism and other special needs. I try to make lessons fun, encouraging, and taught in a way that caters to an individual learner's needs and learning styles. I specialize in English, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing at all age levels. I also offer interviewing and resume coaching, as well as training in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint for job seekers. I have the freedom to be flexible with my clients' schedules. I am willing to travel, and can meet with students in your home or at your local library. Although I am very flexible, I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, but offer the ability to make up sessions.
