Tutor in Fresno, California

I am a fluent signer who grew up in and around the Deaf community (my sister is Deaf), who is looking to provide tutorials to ASL learners, and/or to the families of Deaf children. In addition, I have extensive knowledge about the Deaf community, Deaf history, Deaf culture, and Deaf emergence. As an avid language learner able to maintain a conversation in five languages, it is my goal to provide personalized learning experiences to best fit each student, and to familiarize them with the materials and resources necessary for their success in their journey towards fluency. Each lesson will have a strong focus on conversation, but are designed so that even those with no working knowledge of the language can participate. The focus may be changed/modified upon request. Lessons can be done in person or through video conferences (skype or google hangouts.) Sessions run at $20 a lesson (each lesson will be an hour or so each.)
